Home for the Holidays with stories by Ally Blue, L.B. Gregg, Z.A. Maxfield and Amy Lane ranks up there as one of my all time favorite anthologies. Sometimes anthologies are a hit and miss, you either really enjoy one or two and the rest might not be your cup of tea. But this anthology hit all the right buttons and I would have enjoyed each as a single release novella on its own.
L.B. Gregg’s How I Met Your Father was hot but it seriously made me laugh out loud several times and I have to say it was my favorite for humor value out of the bunch. Two words: Boy Band.
Ally Blue’s Long the Mile was angsty and perfect and made me cry a few times which I dare the most stoic to resist after reading. I wanted to hug Toby and Judah the whole time.
Z.A. Maxfield’s Lost and Found rounded out the bunch with the awws and made me laugh and cry.
I’ve already rec’d Christmas Kitsch in a separate rec here.

Bound to be a Groom by Megan Mulry
Sweet baby Jesus, is there anything I can’t say about this book? As a woman who grew up reading bodice rippers I craved something like this. This is not your momma’s historical romance in that the characters are refreshingly open minded. There’s not just one couple, but two and everybody’s kinky. Sign me up for the time machine!
You can find it at Riptide Publishing.
Legally Wed is the first book I’ve read by Rick R. Reed and I was not disappointed. Duncan is amazing and I just wanted to hug him throughout this whole book. After his heart is broken again, Duncan places an ad for a wife and finds Marilyn. Sparks fly when Duncan meets Peter Dalrymple, his and Marilyn’s wedding planner. Such a sweet and funny book I loved it and will definitely read more from Mr. Reed.
You can find it here from Dreamspinner Press.
That’s all for today, folks.
