Special Forces

It’s been a while since I’ve done a book rec since I immersed myself in the epic world of Dan and Vadim in Aleksandr Voinov’s (writing under the pen name Vashtan) Special Forces series. Seriously. If you haven’t read this yet? You’re missing out on some of the best writing I’ve had the honor to get my eyeballs on in a long time. It’s not for the faint of heart with themes such as torture, rape, war, and it’s emo angsty as hell. Dark, gritty and angsty it’ll send your poor heart through the crusher. At over a million words in this series you’ll find yourself turning the pages like crazy to follow Dan and Vadim’s love story that spans over 25 years

You can read the whole thing free on Mr. Voinov’s website below.

Christmas Kitsch by Amy Lane

I’ll be the first to fangirl flail over Amy Lane. She has the uncanny ability to make you smile then snot sob in the very next sentence. Christmas Kitsch is a story that will do both. Rusty, the rich privileged football player is just so sweet. I just want to hug the hell out of him for being so authentic and real and then add in Oliver?  Seriously, the dreamy sighs were epic during this. One word: “Oliversexual.”

Proceeds also go to an awesome cause:
